First Silver of the New Year

Hi

A great start to 2016 with my first silver, it was the fourth time out and the second time in the waterlogged field that I found the silver in.

It is a William III Shilling, which might have been sanded down to be turned into a Love Token, nothing left on the one side and just barely a image on the side of the picture I have posted.  It could be even just a normal silver worn down over the years by being in the field.
