It has been a good year for finds for me, I have had only one hammered coin this year, but I have had a Beautiful Gold coin and a stunning Roman Silver.
I have been very lucky with silver coins this year as you can see below. The Gold coin is a Celtic Stater from 55BC to 45BC and is from the Selsey Tribe and the Roman Silver is a Denarius of Geta who co-ruled around 200AD. I was lucky enough that the farmer, a great bloke, let me keep the Gold coin and the right thing to do was give him half the value of it.
