A Surprisingly Weird Find

I found this weird skull item last year and must admit it is one of my favourite finds. I think that it might be the top off a walking cane as there is a hole in the base for something to fit into. I could be wrong but will never know.  Also on the same day a great condition sixpence was found on the same field too.

I am still using the same machine that I used in the old blog. The Teknetics T2 is still my favourite machine and now I use the Detech 13" Ultimate coil instead. I tend to use the same setting on it, setting sensitivity between 70-80, the discrimination on 20 and I use 2+ tones. It is great on depth with coins being found down to a depth of 10 inches sometimes.
