It's amazing how some coins come out worn while others come can come out as new. In the case of this coin it is a bit of both. The one side is in awesome condition while the other (face side) is worn away, from what I heard they rubbed the face side for lucky, unsure how true.
The coin is just over 30mm in diameter and dates from around 1570, so it's a big one too.
